This idea that Ukraine would have benefited if they had retained nuclear weapons is absurd. If Ukraine used a nuke or more against Russia, which they could not because those nukes were Russian and designed and controlled by Russia - just imagine how that would have gone. A nuclear missile from Ukraine would have probably been shot down, and then the counterstrike would have leveled Kiev. Then possibly global nuclear war. What on Earth are any of you thinking in terms of Ukraine having nukes? it is stupid.
