Unless you actually live here then your perspective isn't based on what is going is on and is pure speculative..This is what you want to happen based on your belief system in an ideal world. Future events(election) are not present in the minds of the average citizen..Thaiand and Indonesia will be more "open" long before the Philippines...People in those countries are suffering just as much as the Philippines..This country isn't concerned with international tourists...Vietnam isn't concerned either with international tourists..Hell domestic tourism isn't really allowed here in the Philippines for the most part...The government is more focused on getting 70% of population vaccinated first...Only 12% fully vaccinated so far.....This isn't America or a wealthy country so things are done differently here and in the other Asian countries.
