It's that way in all communist countries, a friend who grew up in communist Poland told me kids in school did NOT get to pick what they were going to be as adults, the government told kids what they were going to be. They also told the very intelligent kids to hold back, don't let on to your teacher how smart you really are otherwise the government would mark them as being dangerous for being intelligent enough to question the communist narrative etc.

The CCP allowed world travel from Wuhan while banning domestic travel from Wuhan, they purposely allowed their virus to spread around the world while keeping it from spreading in China. China should be billed for the costs every country is incurring due to the CCP virus.
