  1. Finish and Cascade are the same thing. The only difference is that Finish is made in the USA and Cascade in Canada.

  2. I have incandescent light bulbs that have not been changed in 37 years. The trick is not to use incandescent bulbs at full brightness. Just dim them a bit = extended life. You can keep the LED. The subliminal flickering is annoying as heck. Also, the people who think: "I save electricity with an LED bulb, so I can get a bulb 10 times brighter" = light pollution is worse than ever are the worst of all.

  3. Pods are expensive and a rip-off. If you can't find powder at your store, you can order powder cheap online. I usedvthe sample pods that came with my new machine they worked fine but price per wash is ridiculous especially if you use your washer sometimes multiple times a day as I do. My local market offers Cascade, Finish and the store brand in boxes, though I like bubble blaster, which prevents scale build up, so I order it online.

  4. I'll keep my gas heat. You go heat pump. Wait until the windmill lunatics quadruple the price of a kilowatt you'll be wishing you kept your gas heat.

Call me old fashioned, but I love old fashioned incandescent lights, LED light annoy me, I don't know why, they just do and I don't care how much they're softened or colored, I can still tell the difference. Even more annoying about LED is the people who think 🤔 "since I am saving power with an LED bulb I can use the same amount of power but go 100 times brighter" then put their excessively bright lights on their house, point them at their neighbors and then leave their super annoyingly bright LED lights on 24/7/365. Everyone is appalled by air and water pollution, but have ZERO problem with light pollution, since the advent of the LED the light pollution has gotten so bad that it has been observed by the International Space Station. I don't buy the bare bulb starting a fire in a closet argument more likely the makers of LED bulbs lobbied to get that ridiculous regulation in place.
