  2. They were, he was out of control and they had no way of knowing if he had hostages or not. Therefore they had no choice but to wait and try to gather more info. which eventually they did and brought the situation to a halt. I wonder what all you folks would say if they had stormed in and killed people? For those living there, the lockdown was for your own safety. You cannot please some folk it would seem. Best you complain to your MP and stop these people from coming in!

  4. That was abt the Met police....these fellows were MOD, armed, most likely ex soldiers. They acted with great restraint and got the situation right without bloodshed to innocent people. Bullits go through walls so there had to be a lock down for safety reasons.
