  3. Its a strategic island.....for both the UK and US. There would be no guarantee that Mauritius would not sell to China! Also the natives do not want to belong to Mauritus. us. @beng7845

  6. Hong Kong is different, Britain only leased it and the time was up so back to China it went. Most up-sticked , took their money and came to N.America, bought monster homes, when the coast was clear they went back but left their teenagers behind in schools without supervision. They did us no good at all.
