It strikes me how similar the effects of a mega vocano are to what is surmised as the prehistoric extinction event? I know we've got the meteor of the coast of Mexico which might have caused similar events but I don't know it iwould have put up as much debris? How about a series of volcanic eruptions of similar size to Krakato causing all that?
