I think if they let that audience loose on us during the Falklands the outcome could have been a lot different! Gotta hand it to Argentina there - they Fuckin ROCK!

Love how dear old Phil on drums looks like someone who would come round to change a washer on your tap! 😄

Love the way Phil Rudd on the drums looks like someone who would come round to fix a leaking tap!

Well I'm 55, English & have an album collection of just over 3000 now & what I consider to be the greatest song of ALL time is languishing with...wait for it....146,000 views in 5 years!

There's not a day bad enough that a bit of AC/DC can't make better!
9
Who gives a hairy rat's arse about a fucking crowd? Talk about & celebrate who they came to see! What's next? What nation has the best stadium toilet facilities?
6
@J33zas No as I say, I don't give a shit about "a crowd," I give credit & kudos to a nation that generates music like this! What's next? What nation has the the best toilet facilities? Most comfortable seats? What's the matter with you!
5
Matias Perez It's a fair point Matias. Music & politics shouldn't mix directly. Let's just hope there can be a resolution that both nations can work with & we can get back on with being friends!

Oh stop it PLEASE!

I always thought the band got their name through some electrical connection but apparently ACDC were chords they used in a very early song!

Point Rose We were on those islands even before the Spaniards were killing off the indigenous people of what was to become Argentina! The fact is the people who live there want to remain British. You can't be a hypocrite, if you don't like us don't listen to our music! If you want to take them back come & have a go but be warned the UK would take any attack as an attack on British sovereign territory & all bets would be off including an attack by us on mainland Argentina itself!
3
85 MILLION views! - There's hope people...there's still hope!

+Mel Cunningham Write that again, drop the "this music is" bit & substitute "why am I" in there instead.
3
Status Quo wrote "Mean, mean Girl" along similar lines - "She was a big one, a "I met at a gig" one!"
3
Nicki aka Morgaine Demonia Ok, thanks for that! I love the Geordies - Great people!
2
We once owned something like 3/4 of the planet now the UK gives Rock to something like 3/4 of the planet!
2
OMRIKI999 What is this thing with Queen? Here in the UK, for my generation at least, we don't rate them at all! - Sort of kiddie Pop/Rock band. Early Genesis were sublimely good. you should really check out albums like "Then There were Three," "Wind and Wuthering" or "The lamb lies down on Broadway."

Love the way Phil Rudd on drums looks like someone you'd have come round to fix a leaking tap!

Contrary to what a lot of you younger guys may think, there has never been a universal acceptance or even liking for this kind of music. I'm English, a country that knows a little bit about Rock music, & I would say back in the day even Rock bands like AC/DC would have had a problem filling a phone box for a concert. There was a halcyon time in the 70's when The Beatles were still going & The Stones were in their pomp that great music was more widely accepted in the UK but post Punk, in the late 70's, Disco shit took over I it was down to a VERY few mostly guys to keep this music alive. There is still a lot of great music out there but when people stopped making music for the love of making music & started making it, or worse, copying it for the love of making money THAT is where it all went wrong. I really don't know why AC/DC get the rightly deserved adulation that they do? None of them are practically stellar musicians BUT they are true to themselves & their music and I LOVE them for that!
2
As always not a mention of the dudes up on the stage....🙄 The *UK writes the playlist for the world & never gets a shout out & yet a nation with people who "jump about a bit" at concerts does....? What's next? The best concert toilet facilities? * I know the band is officially Aussie but the Young brothers emigrated out there from the UK & Brian Johnson is English. We also have a stab at some other half decent Rock music which I've never seen celebrated on comment sections either....😕
2
@RobPresq1717 I don't honestly feel AC/DC would be over bothered, they've had adulation their entire working lives but a little shout-out to a nation that has brought you SO many amazing bands would be nice? Argentina gets this in droves on many Rock uploads, justifiably for their "crowds" but if we are heaping praise on a nation for doing that, what's so wrong for mentioning the nation where the music comes from? You haven't even had the graciousness to do that in your reply & have just focused on the band? I can live with it, our musical heritage speaks, sings & plays for itself but ... Jezzzz! 🙁
2
Oh stop it! 😠

Not the first time the English & some Sweaty Socks have taken Argentina apart! 🇬🇧
2
🇬🇧👍
2
@dissonantpulse I've seen worse posts where none of the fecking keys seem to work!
2
This will probably mean fuck all to anyone outside the UK but even as a Cockney I think the Geordies are the nicest & best people on the planet & antipodean sweaty socks are ok as well!
2
Yeah... No mention or cred given to the nation the band was originally from & the singer still is from as usual.... It's fine, crowds go to see "crowds" not musicians... 🙄
2
@pekinobo It's not a problem. I'm just old & grumpy & annoyed that my nation 🇬🇧, like never, gets a call out for the music they have given to that planet but you do see a lot of comments praising Argentina for her "crowds" which seems odd when entirely ignoring the nation the band playing come from.... I mean what would be next? The best stadium toilet facilities? Btw - I know the Young brothers are Aussie 🇦🇺 but even that has a 🇬🇧 on its flag & they lived in the UK up until their teens. Brian is a Geordie.
2
@pekinobo It's no problem & just me being old & pedantic, if not pathetic! 😁 The Argentinian crowds are amazing, I've seen similar reactions when Oasis played there but, again, a thousand comments congratulating the nation on this but nothing on the guys up on the stage. 😕 It's honestly not a problem & just me having too much time on my hands & not enough actual stuff to worry about! 😁 Btw - Of the 🇬🇧's bands you mentioned, you left off what I consider to be the greatest - early Genesis! Of over 900 albums I've had one of theirs at my #1 for many years now. Sorry to learn of your hearing problems also.
2
@pekinobo I think I'm too honest & possibly efficient to be a politician! 😁 We've had some awful ones here of late & the next election is going to see a MASSIVE swing to a party no one had heard of 2 years ago but are only now 7% points behind the party that are in power in the polls. Very good friend of mine went totally deaf in one ear a day or so after he had a Covid shot. 😕 Listening to loud music will damage your ears although I've somehow dodged that despite doing it for a LONG time. Yes Genesis - "..... And Then There Were Three" for my money the greatest album ever produced. A lot of purist, long-term Genesis fans disagree as the album marked a change in the bands direction with the departure of Gabriel & then guitarist Steve Hackett, but I've got their entire canon of work so I think I can weigh all & judge & that is some album! I'm clocking on a bit now & have loved music from probably 6 years old. I have two much older sisters who were into the Beatles & the Stones so grew up listening to their music & recommendations of respective boyfriends. Most is on vinyl, I might even be able to retire on a couple of the more sought after ones one day! 😁😀 I have two mates who are very good musicians who almost cracked it. One played in a band with Paul Di Annio after he left Iron Maiden. The other was in a band with Jason Bonham, son of Zep's John Bonham, who got to support some major bands including Def Leppard & Queen in the early 80's. I actually got to sit in on a jamming session with Brain May during a sound check. 👍 What country are you based? What other bands do you like & what's your favourite album?
2
Yeah.... Forget about the nations that actually make the music like Aus or the UK & big up "crowds...." 🤔 What's next? The nation with the best toilet facilities? In a million & one comments I don't think I've seen one propping the UK for her music! 😠
2
It's nice to see two nations that were, & possibly still are, keen to blow the shit out of each other in the 80's enjoying the power & beauty of pure Rock n Roll together!
2
This will probably mean fuck all to anyone outside the UK but even as a Cockney I think the Geordies are the nicest & best people on the planet & antipodean sweaty socks are ok as well!
2
Once we conquered the world with metal axes then we switched to electric ones! Go GB!
2
The sound of yet another Rock guitar lost to the world! Something I thought would never happen is happening - Rock music is literally dying! My generation & nation handed you kids an immense legacy but fuck me did you drop it!
2
For an Englishman Brian actually moves pretty well! 😄
2
Even when we go & live in our sunnier colonies the Brits still make GREAT music!
2
Argentina hates us as a nation but loves our music... Go figure!
2
I think Genesis (rightly) hold that honour for a one off concert? "When in Rome" with 500,000 people!
2
Ones dead, ones gone deaf & ones in nick for soliciting murder.... Long live Rock 'n Roll! 🇬🇧
2
If the reason for me being on this planet for 60 years was to just see this video it would have all been worthwhile! 😆
2
Check your date or better still delete boring, irrelevant comments altogether! 😠

🇬🇧+🇦🇺 = 🎸🤘
2
@Pragmatic__ Yeah I get that but I'm English & we have a fair stab at some decent music, AC/DC is ostensibly 75% British but I NEVER see a single fucker saying - "Wow! Respect to the UK! They make some immense music!" No instead we have to celebrate.... crowds...
2
It's great & all that mate but why direct people to an upload of someone speaking a language probably 0.25% of people would understand to hear a band "warming up?" I could walk into most pubs here in 🇬🇧 on a Saturday night & hear that?
2
I'll let you into a secret here... I'm old, I remember AC/DC when Angus HAD to wear those shorts as part of his REAL school uniform. Back in the day if the band played here in the UK, a country that knows a little bit about Rock music, I doubt if they would have filled a phone box, the rot had already set in & people (girls) were listening to all the disco shit. Some of us held the Rock flame but we weren't evangelical about it - we didn't shout about how good it was & how much it meant to us...... So for all my adult life I sort of took it that a few guys like me got it, if we went to a club we had to put up with all the nonsense Dance shit they played..... but HEY! that's the way it is, maybe people will never get it. As generations passed I got more & more despondent as more & more shit pumped out of my radio THEN - I come here almost * 82 MILLION * fuckin views!!!! Thank you guys, you have made an old man really happy!!!!

Please stop telling me I need a facking website!

Point Rose Como? Su no gana la guerra? Los gente qierian ser Inglaterra?
1
+Point Rose The Young brothers were from Scotland originally & moved to Australia as teenagers. Brian Johnson is from Newcastle which the last time I looked was on the NE coast of England? I also take it you don't listen to any other English bands? I always thought the Canadians were friends of the British? How comes you are waving a flag for a country that is over 1000 KM from the islands, has no greater claim to them than any other nation & rides rough shod over the wishes of the people who have lived there for over 300 years who voted to remain under British domain by 99%?
