  3. +Milan Mahat That's not true, the Dalai Lama gets a lot of coverage & respect in the West including from some fairly major "A-List" celebrities. Problem you have got is that China calls the shots there & the West is not about to be picking a fight with them!

Milan Mahat The brutal truth Milan is that your problems don't detrimentally effect Western interests & possible help to Nepal would alienate us from a supposed friend in India & one time potential enemy & possibly now "friend" in China. probably, as always, it all comes down to money. I know the actor Richard Gere had a big thing about Nepal & the Dali Lamar so a lot of influential people in the States at least should be aware of your plight. Look, at the end of the day, as brutal as it may seem, the world is in a permanent state of flux with constant political change it's just the luck of the draw as to whether or not your country is hit by the turmoil. Not 70 odd years ago my parents had bombs falling on their head in the London Blitz, sometimes you have to fight your battles on the basis that no help will be forthcoming from outside.

  8. Does that mean we can go after the Italians (Romans,) Norse (Vikings,) & even the French with the Normans for when they chased us up a tree & enslaved a lot of the British population? You've also got the African Barbary pirates who were taking people from UK coastal towns until the C 18th. to be sold into slavery in Arab markets?
