Although at the time not a huge fan of them, a fact that was to change based on the following performance, but I would say going by recent Glastonbury performances - The Foo Fighters deserve a mention. I think it was their 2018 set that got a lot of people talking & almost universal critical acclaim! They literally tore the roof of the dump! They followed a petulant & indifferent Liam Gallagher who - through sticking half of the Colombian rainforest up his hooter - sounded like something you would feed bread to over the park.

  4. Anyone want a game of Rock star poker? Bill Curbishly - The manager of The Who used to come into my Dad's shop. I used to take Steve Harris' autistic nephew to school. Mate of mine was subsequently in a band with Madien's former lead singer Paul Di Annio. Another mate from school was in a band with Jason Bonham &, through that connection & his band supporting them, I got to meet Queen & jammed with Brian May along with a lot of the big acts back in the day like Leppard. Outside of that I went to school with Billy Bragg's brother, let Paul McCartney, Linda & the kids out in traffic going round Trafalgar Sq. & got a big Macca open palmed "Thank you" & was almost runover by Roger Taylor in an Aston on Wapping High Street!
