  1. Tesla spent a fair amount of effort trying without success in the 19th century trying to convince the US Navy that radio controlled drones were the smartest way to fight at sea. Of course the admirals saw only the potential loss of the kickbacks they got from ship building contracts so they negated the idea. His spirit smiles at his idea finally being embraced.

  2. It is highly probable both Chinas and Japan (and some of South America) will also soon have similar naval drones. The US will take longer of course. There is a lot of money to be made building large ships, so the US will be slower to switch.
