Neither of these two heads of state said a single word about Ukraine or Russia in this video clip! But maybe Spain is trying to understand what it, along with the Basques and the Catalans, can learn from Serbia's separation from the former Yugoslavia and the loss of the Kosovo region?!?

@perrx7 From a Serbian perspective, this may well be the case. - But the people of Kosovo most likely think differently.

@nashudchivas9352 I don't recognize too much benefit in replying to the content of your comment (which was addressed directly to me about 50 minutes ago) if it is not visible to all panelists. This type of "off-screen communication" had already been tried out by the somewhat old-fashioned GDR Stasi... and ended up delivering rather disappointing results from a general government perspective, right?

@perrx7 That's why I always advocate a referendum, protected by a UN peacekeeping mission, to find out the precise governance desires of the people of a region.

@milostomic8539 It depends on the respective referendum. Donbass (more self-determined independence) and Kherson (Ukraine affine) did not document the same result back in 2014!

@Крајишник-к1к I dare to doubt that Saxony, Brandenburg and a corresponding referendum consider it the same way. Or which region is meant? Googe Maps only shows me a river and lake region in eastern Germany when I type in Lusatia...
