@vikingrasarya5792 What professional background a mercenary has is of secondary importance. Who I call mercenary is a paid person who voluntarily agrees by a contract to intervene in a violent conflict, if necessary with weapons, on behalf of the client's interests. For me, the privilege of the title "soldier" is firmly linked to defending one's own country in one's own country. Whatever countries send their military forces abroad only under a conglomerate of national interest groups and not under a UN peacekeeping mission, send, at least in my opinion, nothing else but their sacrified mercenaries. I despise any single one who has volunteered for such a national interest-driven mission abroad.

@vikingrasarya5792 But: When I did compulsory German military service, I was almost tricked too. The compulsory military service lasted one year. We were offered a truck driver's license for anyone who voluntarily extends their compulsory military service by three months. Despite my interest, I did not accept the offer due to time constraints. After some comrades had signed the extension, they said to us afterwards: It should be clear to everyone that those who had volunteered to extend as 3-month soldiers could now also be sent to the peacekeeping mission in Yugoslavia in Kosovo. But we people doing basic military service at the military transport logistic support had never considered the duty of a German soldier that way.

@vikingrasarya5792 If there is a region where people want to separate themselves from the "motherland" (or the occupier), then free elections should make that possible and (at least partially) enable separation and independence. Because the "governing country" will no longer be able to lead this group of people without violence under the neglected and long outdated regulations anyway... Many regions have published a demand for more independence [ Western Sahara, Tibet, Pyrenees, (Bavaria, Saxony ;) ... ] But a possible (at least partial) separation should be driven by the desire of an (ethnic/historical regional-language) majority to be polled in an independent electoral process, and not driven by extremists... (ballots in Basque, Cherokee, Tibetan, Swabian, Saxon...etc.) Or does your "logic" consider it to be legitimate, that Turkey occupies the whole of Berlin to protect some districts of Berlin to "protect" the majority of their citicens living there ?!? In my opinion men and women and all in between beyond the age of 25 only deserve a passport of a country, if the person has served one year in and for public services for this country (no matter whether: military, health system, transport services, garbage collection, landscaping ... you name it) ! This would prevent a lot of false flags from living here but supporting there. Just look how Great Britain developed itself during the centuries! There was a constant gain and loss of colonies/countries in its commonwealth and it joined and left EU, NATO and other bigger clubs. Such processes need to be standardized to substitute military conflicts by transitions driven by referendums.

@vikingrasarya5792 The uprising desire of a group of people to commonly leave an existing nation to gain more self-determined independence only reveals in my opinion the incompetence of the national leadership when it comes down to fair negotiations!

This kind of "off-screen communication" had already been tried out by the somewhat old-fashioned East German Stasi... and delivered rather disappointing results from a general perspective of the state, right?

@vikingrasarya5792 Why not make a good suggestion yourself first?!? - Imagine you are the great dictator somewhere in America in your own kingdom... Let's start with animals first, to make things easier: would you offer at least a small sanctuary to a great variety of species such as wild mustangs, the migratory monarch butterfly and whales, even though they consume your kingdom's resources?!? Now think of your people: therein are a small group of citizens and itinerant people like gypsies who are dissatisfied with your way of governing. All the negotiations you offered have failed. Would you rather offer them a separate usable space for different societies to coexist peacefully with clear boundaries, or do you prefer to use ultimate force against these different-minded people while breeding terrorists in your kingdom?!?

@vikingrasarya5792 There will always be a struggle for the agreed level of delegated powers, even if you are just the big dictator of a very small town. ;) And I have not seen so far a good suggestion from your side to improve the old-fashioned already known processes of solving disputes! Because if there are neither differences nor borders, then everything has become Pb already. :)
