But when "stupidity" collaborates, weather data goes undocumented. Presumably the two nations with the highest CO2-emissions have agreed in secret that shooting the balloon down is the best way to hide the current disruption of the polar vortex and the massive rise in temperature in the stratosphere (50 degree Celsius).
