I believe God likes to see this love and compassion for our fellow men and women, to Express how much we care about one another is a lovely thing to see and it's really nice.

Smart move, save money and get an education. And if you save enough you can eventually, if you would like, move to another university with a good chance of not having as large a debt.

Jennifer Murphy I know, but part of it is also knowing finance and being able to be a little resilient and not just needlessly applying for tens of thousands of dollars in loans without having a plan in place. You need to have a plan in place, that’s a crucial aspect of it. Ok, I want to go to this college ok I need this and this, I’m going to have to be a little flexible and thoughtful about the amount I need and have to have a significant plan in place before you go silly silly and ask the bank for tens of thousands of dollars in debt. As a Junior in high school, I’m starting a plan right now and it does not involve forty grand in loans which I know will destroy me when I get out out of college.

Jennifer Murphy I actually learned about wrap all finance and accounting so I do have experience in this realm and their actually is a plan I am acting upon it’s basic details include - creating a budget that identifies amounts my family might use from savings, scholarships, student loans and financial aid. - Research college costs and financial eligibility - Take AP classes or dual community college enrollment while I’m in high school right now - Also starting to limit college chooses within my price constraints - Also, Thinking about taking a gap year to get more experience with what I want to do and raise more funds. Also, to volunteer and see if there are any other opportunities out there So, I may be a 17 year old but I feel like I have a good handle on my life and I am fit to be able to talk in this discussion. And actually many new college students do do it willy nilly because many of them do not even know the massive future ramifications of their actions in the present, and if they did they would be more cool and precise and level headed and see their are options than getting yourself into $60 grand in debt. So please do not even put the disadvantaged group as the ones that do not get this process because I don’t come from the best background I am grateful for where I have come from and what I have but since about 14 I have been researching this and comprehending it, taking in people’s various opinions and ideas so it’s not misinformed or underprivileged because I know underprivileged kids and they actually because they are underprivileged they have to fight harder to make a name for themselves and learn and comprehend so they have a lager incentive to learn as much as they can about the college process to improve their and their family’s lives and to actually carve out a future for them so what your saying is not a viable excuse. So those kids that do do it silly nilly I have seen them, they come from a better background they tend to be white, middle classThey are optimistic and happy and innocent but they don’t know the costs the pains the depression after college ends after the realization of what has happened sinks in and kicks you hard.

Gabriel Goodman It’s definitely a typo. It’s more like 3,500. But let’s just hope it never reaches such a high death toll like that!

100101mint mint101001 Or we'll keep losing more honorable women and men and plunging more and more money down the drain into a seemingly endless war that's not seeing any real constructive success!!!

What about the 15 americans kidnapped in Haiti?
2
Yup! We’re born with a blank slate and it’s the people around us (ie. family, teachers, other loved ones) that helps fill it in and thus inform/impact our early opinions of the world, society, etc. - so that’s why it’s important to have healthy, positive influences and role models for children growing up.

Not these days, especially with technology and automation. Whole industries that were safe in the past, like manufacturing and engineering, are not as stable as they were before in previous decades.
