China has been tightening its tyrannical hold on the city over the last several years and attempting to break its promise of “one country, two systems” that is supposed to last until 2047. Two examples of this are: - The new Chinese Security Law that the mainland government is attempting to pass, which would make it easier to enforce their will over the civilians of the city in the name of, “national security” - https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.cnn.com/cnn/2016/06/16/asia/china-hong-kong-booksellers/index.html The mainland Chinese communist government is clearly breaking that agreement!
