  1.  @bobthegoat7090  Yup. They focus more on rehabilitation, instead of punitive punishment, like we do here in the US, which seems successful considering their low recidivism (reoffending) rate.

  2. Yup. Jail is more like your holding cell/temporary housing while your trial is underway, and depending on the verdict (whether your found guilty) then your going to be sent to the real facility where you’ll spend your foreseeable future in.
