  2. That doesn’t even look like real mole it looks like chocolate and the type of bland mole you find at “gourmet” Mexican Americanized restaurants. If you’re a cultural anthropologist of Mexican cuisine you should know this. Mole is darker than that, and it’s color is common across Mexico. Also, there’s green mole as well.
