  3. ​ @elimiller9167 It depends on the place. Where I shop at they just let street people steal carts. Of course I really wouldn't know because I haven't tried to take one, but I see them everywhere. Maybe it's mostly old ones.

  4. Yeah that's always been a thing in America. I have never seen a coin operated shopping cart, and bag ladies have always stolen them to push their stuff around.

  6.  @RustyNinja100  Ok, we don't have them in the southeast, except maybe Aldi, I haven't shopped there yet. I don't remember seeing them in Ohio or Michigan either, but I haven't been there in decades.
