@Draefend Yeah I have went through, it's kinda like stopping anti depressants except it doesn't last for nearly as long. It is still nothing compared to a physical dependence on something like alcohol or opoids. When I stopped opoids I weened off and didn't expiernce that bad of acute, but I couldn't sleep for more than an hour or two a night for three or four months. And the hollowness feeling persisted for months as well.

Meth and other stimulants are really easy to quit. You don't experience withdrawals, you just start feeling better. It's downers like opoids and benzoes that are hell the quit.

Amphetamines aren't that addictive. The hand them out of school kids for adhd. When you stop taking them you don't get sick or anything. The only problems come from taking them to much and stopping fixes all of that. It's downers that have complicated withdrawal processes that lead to quiting being very hard.

@sharonrigs7999 As a recovering junky I can confirm opoids don't work for a chronic conditions. In the end they stop working and you have to take them to not be sick and you are still in pain. Now people who want their pills will claim to the bitter end they work wonderfully. They do not, you just end up with someone in pain and in withdrawal. Take as prescribed and you will be dependent and once your dependent it isn't really working anymore anyway.
