@Canoby I have seen this with a pro Ukrainian vlogger. He refused to criticize the Ukrainian government until he was in country and started hearing the complaints of soldiers coming off the front lines. That's all it took for him to see his lack of criticism as failing those troops.

When he proclaimed that the military industrial complex doesn't exist because the tech sector is bigger (on paper), he completely lost me. That and he seems to be trying to normalize the idea of participating in WW3.

@anvarnasibullin1838 NATO would have air dominance and a whole hell of a lot more equipment and men. Ukraine has hand me down equipment and impromptu training, it's not even close to the same thing. And I don't think anyone is "better." War is hell and both sides are going to have horrific losses.

@megalamanooblol They have said from the very beginning that they don't want volunteers without experience. They aren't training foreign fighters as far as I know.

It would have been really handy to get those wounded guys out of the mine fields. That medic that jumped out of a Bradly into a mine crater on top of another mine would still have his legs if he had been able to deploy one of these instead.

Here is my magic wand solution. Legalize all drugs in America and sell them through government run businesses like state run liquor stores. Only take enough money to pay the employees and put everything else into mental health and rehab facilities to help get those who are ready to sober up. Cut the cartels out of their middle man spot and just import the drugs directly from source countries.

@shtroizn sadly it isn't like they are the only ones in history to do it. It happens in most wars to different degrees. It's been happening a lot in Myanmar, as in it has been sanctioned and is encouraged.

@nicolasolton it was about a year ago. He kind of took China's side against Taiwan saying they were separatist. He walked it back immediately because of backlash. Honestly I just don't think he was very well informed on the subject and conflated the China Taiwan situation with that of Ukraine and the Donbas separatists.
