  3.  @SeanPat1001  ok, but be aware in some places you have to call in and get salvage permission to take a road kill. You can still get in trouble for that. Not that I have a problem with it, I picked up a deer last year that my neighbor hit.

  6.  @SusCalvin  They aren't "my rules," they are state and federal law. If you can't process an animal for consumption that is pretty sad, but normal for most city folks. You better hope you never half to do it to eat. Those grocery stores might not always be open.

  7.  @SusCalvin  I have hunted in Canada, in some of the provinces that allow non resident hunters (looking at you Saskatchewan), and most of the laws are very similar to most of the US.

  8.  @SusCalvin  Yes, that is the same way it is the US, except for on Indian Reservations. They are sovereign nations so I believe they are allowed to set their rules on their land. When I went to Canada I hunted deer in Alberta and Moose in NF, and the rules were very similar to down here. I agree, we wouldn't want to scale up hunting to replace farming. We did that early on in the US, and they banned market hunting because they killed all the animals. Where I live more deer and turkeys were brought in by sportsmen in mid 1900's to reestablish the populations. The deer in my part of the country were hunted to extinction to make leather belts for the industrial revolution in Europe.

  13. ​ @lu544 that's pretty much how I feel. I do believe that the US and CIA probably did help cause a lot of this mess, but that just makes me think we owe Ukraine even more. If it's partially our fault, we shouldn't leave them hanging. But, I do want the CIA to freaking stop the color revolutions. Hell, Mexico hates us right now for what they did over the last 50-60 years, having their presidents on the CIA payroll. They are basically on an unopposed track to turning socialists/communists now. It's seems from my point of view, that they are just pushing us closer to WW3.

  16.  @altercount4554  and the domesticated park ducks and geese are feral, so they are not vaccinated. Whether or not they are migratory doesn't matter if they are wild residents. But you need NO licenses to kill domestic ferals of any species, and that is what most park ducks geese are.

  17.  @altercount4554  yes, but there are domestic Canada Geese that look just like, and basically are Canada geese, you just don't need a permit because it isn't hunting. I have a flock of nine, I can eat one whenever I want.

  18.  @altercount4554  No, it isn't different on private land, the state owns the wildlife. I am talking about Canada geese that have been domesticated, not cracklings or wild resident geese. The ducks and geese at most parks came from a farmers stock. Domestic geese are more likely to have some brown and white geese in the flock, domestic mallards are 1/3 larger than wild mallards. Domestic mallards and Canada's are a threat to wild birds.

  19.  @altercount4554  a domestic Canada goose looks just like a wild one, unless it is a different color phase which doesn't occur naturally. You can't tell just by looking at one, but if you can walk up to it and feed it bread, it's probably a domestic. You don't need a permit to hunt wild boars in Florida or Texas. You need a permit to hunt them on public land, but that is just a permit to get into the punblic area.

That Chinese woman was an auntie, and yes, most of those in her age group are like that. The younger generations are embarrassed by it though.
