  1. It looks like a coy dog. Half coyote and half dog. Its body posture is that of a dog and coyotes aren't solid black.

  2.  @QUINTUSMAXIMUS  I found out recently we had black wolves in Florida at one time, alongside the red wolves, so it doesn't surprise me that it is possible. I have several coyotes on my place, but they are the normal grey color.

  4. ​ @Susweca5569  It's not normal, it isn't posturing it's body like a normal coyote when meeting other canines. It's back would be all humped up in a way dogs don't posture.
