It's because unemployment stats are how ma y people are on unemployment, and the vast majority of people don't qualify for unemployment even though they aren't employed. I have never had a job that lays people off where they can get unemployment. They just fire people and make up an excuse, or make their job so hard they quit.

@ed-0364 I hated being single until I actually got into a an adult relationship and realized how much worse it is than being single. Now I love the peace, and not having to deal with a woman's constant crisis one after the other.

I have never even been able to get unemployment. Companies refuse to lay you off, they just make it so hard on you that you quit or they make up a reason to fire you.

@garethwilliams4467 Oh, I have done plenty wrong. But the fact is, it's way to hard to find decent employment, and I put that at the feet of the government.

@garethwilliams4467 Oh yeah, it's not the governments job at all to make sure we have a functioning economy and not to let corporations ship all the working class jobs overseas. Sure, it is all my fault that the economy is fcked. The governments only job is to take in taxes and give it to foreign countries I guess.

@ag4allgood Yeah, and I am still only 30 minutes from some of the prettiest beaches in Florida and live about two blocks from the water.

@ag4allgood That's south Florida, I am in the panhandle and it hasn't rained in weeks. Well it rained a little today, but we needed it. And my house hasn't ever flooded, even when we got several feet of rain in 24 hours and it washed out a bunch of roads. The hurricane storm surge doesn't make it up the hill either.

Take a part time job and collect evidence for a law suit before you jave to quit or are fired. File law suites against every emploter you work for, ever.
