@worldssickestmedia2713 You are right. Opoids only work for very short time periods. Anything more and you are making the problem much, much worse. Heck they don't even work after awhile, so it isn't treating anything. They make the pain worse in the long run.

@Mike_H76 If you are on Benzoes that is an addiction. Quit taking them and see if you have a seizure. I have been addicted to it all and I can tell you Benzoes are every bit as bad as opoids. I use to use my anxiety as an excuse, but no one really needs to be on them for more than a few days. If your that bad off you need to be hospitalized so they can figure out what's wrong. Quiting is tuff, you gotta go through withdrawals and feel like death for about 6 months.

@worldssickestmedia2713 that's not exactly how it works. As your tolerance gets higher so does the threshold for a lethal dose. The dose that would kill you without a tolerance might not even get you high later into the addiction. Overdose often happens because you are always pushing it, trying to get as high as you can or you misjudge a dose or potency.

@worldssickestmedia2713 well that wasn't my experience. It started with trying get out of pain (kidney stones) but in the end it was about getting high. The thing about opoids is that the don't remove pain, they only get you high enough to not care about it. I was just saying the threshold goes up with tolerance.
