Lot of people buy and own guns and use illegal drugs and never get in any trouble over it. Technically smoking weed in a legal state with a doctor's prescription could lead to the same charges hunter is faces, all though it is seldomly pursued unless someone in the government has a reason to target you.

@Dreadnok_K6 I am not comparing the two, I am pointing out that the law treats both the same way. That's my problem with it, I don't agree with the law in the first place. I am not a Democrat and didn't vote for his daddy.

You could own guns and have pictures of yourself smoking crack on your computer and wouldn't get charged unless you got caught with drugs or something. These aren't laws that are enforced all the hard, they need a reason to go after you to pursue those charges.

@Dreadnok_K6 yeah but he was also charged for being in possession of the firearm during his active drug use. That charge has nothing to do with the purchasing form questions.
