  5. You can't ship anything through Latin America without at least half of it getting stolen, usually all of it. I am guessing Peter has never shipped anything into or out of Mexico.

  6.  @dallysinghson5569  It has become to expensive. Sure you can build them, but you have to sell a house that should be worth 80k for 10 million. That doesn't help the housing crisis. I bought my house for 42k in 2003 and it is now worth almost a quarter of a million. It was built in the fcking 50's, it should have went down in value! And even worse, the new houses are built with crappy soft wood and particle board that won't even last. The entire housing market isn't based on reality.

I don't think having a family is bad thing, but I am so sick of being expected to pick up all the slack at work for the employees with kids while they use their kids as an excuse to get out of work at every turn. I shouldn't be expected to work harder or not get as much time off or pay more in taxes just because I don't have a family. Being alone sucks anyway, you shouldn't be worked harder and taxed higher for it.

  9. Why did homelessness explode during the pandemic if we are all doing so well? The good pay is bs too. The problem isn't hourly wage, it's finding full time work. 15 an hour doesn't help if they don't want to work you more than 15 hours a week to avoid having any responsibilities regarding your employment.

  35. Most of the legit boomers I knew growing up are dead. Most of the ones still working are from big families that are really gen X ers. My dad is technically a boomer, but his dad was in Korea not WWII and my mom is from a huge family, but if you look at her birthdate she is really gen X.

Different auditors would have different takes on reality. The older I get the more I believe an objective truth is a pipe dream. The more you think something is true, the more of a chance it isn't.

I have to pick up the slack for my co workers with children and they use their kids as an excuse to get out of work all the time, and then they end up not only not having to pay taxes, they get some of the tax money I spent, just because they are getting laid and spitting out kids they can't afford. Sorry but NO! If you can't feed em, don't breed em.

  49. I had to working restaurants after not being able to find any other work. The reason they can't find workers is because it's a horrible job. They won't let you work full time yet it's just as physically demanding as construction job that pays better and give you 40 hours a week. They break every rule regarding employment. It's wasn't uncommon to work 15 hours straight without a break and then have three or four shifts canceled after an hour and a half. They don't give you the required breaks. In construction they blow a horn and give everyone required 15 minute breaks. The restaurants don't even have a chair. They deserve to go out of business .

Actually most don't even think about anything beyond their next fix. We can have both is the correct answer. A war with the cartels is in the future, but honestly I think we need the immigrants. It's the only thing that can save us from population collapse. Unless western women want to start having children again and performing their natural duties we need them.
