Nurses aren't public servants in the USA. We don't have socialized medicine, unfortunately.

@mojus2890 yeah if I currently had coverage I would be more inclined to keep the system the way it is. I do fully admit that socialized medicine has plenty of issues and isn't perfect either.

@mojus2890 yeah, there is no easy answer. It would be nice if we could get the right regulation to make the system work more efficiently.i believe that the whole insurance situation where people aren't actually paying the bill played a huge part in run away pricing. I went to the ER for kindey stones, had full coverage at the time, and my part of the bill was still several thousand dollars and they didn't even do anything but give me a shot of dope.
