  5. On 16 January, 2018, Cathy Newman ran an interview and tried to corner her interviewee with confirmatory questions that contained inaccurate summaries of what the interviewee said. This practice drew criticism from 150,000+ viewers and brought shame to Channel 4 News. Ben de Pear ought to be held responsible for his horrible editorial leadership. Ben de Pear’s mother should be ashamed for having such an incompetent son.
