This unethical practice backfired on Cathy Newman, causing her to stumble on air and drew criticisms from millions of viewers around the world. Cathy Newman: You are a failure in your career and your whole life. Your husband doesn’t love you, your children are annoyed at you, and your viewers hate you. You have an entire association of critics here in Canada who do nothing else but criticize you for your wrongdoings. Cathy Newman: You are what’s wrong with this world and the very antithesis to peace, hope, and positive human aspirations. Shame on you, Cathy so you’re saying Newman!
