I was working nights, & my mom wakes up early around 4-5 maybe earlier depending I think it was around 3:30 4am, having a smoke in the backyard three guys stared hoping the fence onto our shed she yelled Eh they ran off she go's inside to her room calls 911 & the dispatcher said oh no cops available to send to your location. A while later they came back roamed the backyard she calls again same dispatcher my mom tells her now they in the backyard still no cops, she asks what if they try to break in she says phone back if they break in. My mom told me & said. & what hand the phone over to them if they do break in so the dispatcher can try n talk them out of it. What a joke. Sorry to hear about death threats, wore part is that if You try to defend Yourself your in the wrong & you'll be the one going to trial for assault, just happened to a convince store clerk somewhere in Ontario
