  1. Word salad. Brutalizm, Soviet structure, post-Soviet structure and slavic wooden architecture have as much in common as cats, dogs and humsters. Russians call these crap "cheloveïnik" — a human hive. And they are sad necessity of live in megapolis, not a choice, really. But Chinese with their huge population took it to another level, indeed. On a plus side, everything looks well-kept and not like it is a crime ridden place or anything.

  3. Я тож завидую их озеленению, но не человейникам. У нас в Иркутске озеленение — это воткнуть палку в землю и надеяться, что зацветёт когда-нибудь. 😂 Но дороги у нас хорошие на асфальт денег не жалеют. Хотелось бы чтобы такое отношение было к зелёным зонам.

  4. ​​ @peterwang5272  Мне хочется думать, что наше государство никогда не предавало высшей идеи коммунизма — "свобода, равенство, братство". Но СССР изжил себя. Надо смотреть правде в глаза. Зато теперь мы можем попытаться создать Евразийский Союз. Проблема всегда была в фашизме Европы. Европейцы думают о мире как о системе "хозяин — раб", им не нужны друзья, им не нужно равенство, им не нужно даже братство. СССР был слаб, потому что был слишком добр к ним.

  6.  @ketelin4285  I'm afraid problem runs deeper. Media makes it sound as if it only San Francisco problem, but it is not. Tent camps are nothing new for US. A lot of people from tents used to be on welfare. So they don't work. Majority of them are also drug addicts. And their drug addiction had started from being dependant on prescription drugs in the first place, not meth, not painkillers. Essentially, Pharmaceutical Companies created this mess long–long time ago. People go homeless and broke, because they can't keep up with their medical bills, after a while they can't keep up with rent. Then real estate market plummets, prices go high, even more people go homeless. Even those, who previously tried to hold on. And of course wild unhinged capitalists are the problem, thoes who think you can give people free food, free drugs and entertainment — and "plebs" 'd be happy ants in an ant farm like in ancient Rome. Here's a news flash for them: you think in categories of ancient Rome, you end up like ancient Rome. Long story short, you can't cure homelessness by just showing everyone in houses. You need to tackle the problem from all aspects: make schools a place for education not indoctrination, make sure people go to colleges for technical study, not just humanitarian bull, create work places for all the professionals, develop your own industry instead of building factories in other countries, lay off drugs, fight Big Pharma, because they are essentially drug lords. Murica could have never. "Communism" and "cocialism" are cursed words there, so they are going down like their favorite Rome. Homelessness is only the tip of the iceberg. P.S. Sorry for a long rant. It's like watching a ship wreck for me.
