I did read one time that China turned away from the Soviet Union as 'not' being communist enough after Stalin's death and their alliance breaking up. I too never thought or was taught in history of them actually going to war and being on the brink of nuclear warfare.

@LSC69 It is I been watching these events and things very closely and with research for years now since Reagan was President. I always have this info ready for those who want to debate about it. Also look it up in Wikipedia about the 'Mass Killings in Communist Regimes.' It's all there and it is quite staggering and frightening with the facts and horrors from the use of mass genocide on their own people just because they disagreed or had different political views and opinions.
