  1. I don't find today's modern pop interesting at all. All sounds alike. And it's not educating at all. Mostly auto tuned and computerized.

  2. I do not really agree with this. Music today overall is generic with the same sounds, done mostly by computers with auto-tuned voices. It's boring, depressing with dull lyrics that have little or no meaning. A lot of it talks about moods/feelings, cars, women, money and just plain stupid things. There is no unique sound anymore either, very little of it. Everyone now wants to be what others are like these days. So, I really do not agree at all.

  3. Should Musk buy out the music industry? Anyone know if Musk dislikes today's music and what the music industry is currently? If so and doesn't like it, he MUST then buy it. And he doesn't like what's out today and the way the music industry is, *he has got to buy it out and clean house big time*. And that is make changes to what it once was decades ago with certain policies. -One, any who wants to do music must have a real singing voice and at least a half decent one. NO AUTO-TUNING. -Two, must have some kind of musical talent in regards with musical instruments; guitar, piano, drums, etc,., to use and play. Keyboards can be included, but NO computers with all the digital sounds we hear in today's pop, hip and rap music. -Three, must WRITE THEIR OWN MUSIC. NO ghost writers! This will certainly change things by currently kicking out those no talented hackers coming off the streets with very little or no musical talent to have all their music done by computers and auto-tuning. All these losers will be denied from the music industry all together. Rule will be you sing with real voices and play real instruments including keyboards or not to do ANY music at all. Time for change to put an end to this musical nightmare of what's been coming out on our airways on radio that do Top-40 music plus rap and hip music.

  12. It'll continue that way unless two things to happen. One, more people to finally wake up and see how bad it is and no longer buying the music. Two, Musk if he dislikes today's music and seeing how bad the music industry is now to buy them out and clean house to make music great again.

  29. Same here, grew up in the 1970's and '80s when music was completely different with unique sounds, tunes, had soul & passion, good lyrics and melody. It's practically all gone now. It's all about the $$$ today.

I too wasn't a Michael Jackson fan, but I would for sure take his music over ANY music that's out today, at least 95% of it. As for being atrocious, yes, it is part of the NWO by brainwashing the populace and appears that Rick has taken the NWO bait by being brainwashed.

  32. I really kind of shocked to see someone like this guy at his age that cannot see the true light of what has happened to music all together. Music today sucks period. I say less than 10% of it is half decent with only 2% of it good that's out today. It's nothing at all what was out back in the 1950's to the 1980's when each band had different tunes and unique sounds.

  33.  @i10i60  Fact is today's music is a complete basket case. Huge part of it was the Telecommunications Act in 1996 that gave big corps control of radio and the music industry. Since than it was all downhill. Long ago the music industry/record companies required a certain amount of talent for artists to make and sell records. But most of that changed after the Telecommunications Acts became law.
