  1. Some places off the Strip such as the Hard Rock, The Rio and Gold Coast are very good. The Strip today has gotten both too overhyped and expensive.

  2. Same here, I sure remember my first time in Vegas back in 1996 and going to that Hard Rock and loved the casino, most winnings happened there. Really fell in love with that place and the Hard Rock all together. Sure love their pins of gorgeous girls/women. That is when I started my Hard Rock pin collection when I bought my very first Hard Rock pin there in '96. Now I have over 40 from 7 different cities, half from Tampa and a quarter of them from Las Vegas.

  4. I go to the one in Tampa frequently since I'm just 30 miles east. Been to the one in Hollywood there in the Miami area several times.

  5. It has changed a lot since, the neighborhood back in the '90s behind the place was better then, it was a apartment complex where my sister lived and seemed to be a nice area then. That was over 20 years ago. Sounds like it has gotten run down and all the druggies have came.

Wow, I sure have memories of it when I first came to visit Las Vegas in 1996 and went to the Hard Rock Hotel/Casino and fell in love with the Hard Rock, the casino and things sold at the Rock Shop. So with it closing, what's going to happen to 'The Joint' and 'Rehab?'

  9. I live in Lakeland 30 miles east of the Seminole Hard Rock Casino and go there at least every two months. The place now I heard is the 6th largest casino in the world and can see why, has many sections and it's like a maze and can get lost easily.
