Donald can do what he likes and Cuba will do what it likes.  Cuba doesn't want to end up like Zambia, selling second hand western goods and suffering from western bank initiated austerity cuts to their social programs. On a small island driving around 50s era cars is not a bad thing.  It proves they haven't based their economy of disposable goods and consumerism.  Modern cars will probably never last as long as those 50s era vehicles.  They are built for short term use and disposal.  On a small island not every one needs a vehicle or multiple vehicles like here in the states.
