Damn Noam Chomsky is just about a year late. Noam was a great Bernie decrier while Bernie was running his primary. Sorry Noam use all your big words and drone on, but I am sorry you are not as smart as you pretend to be. You ran Bernie down because he wasn't as pure a socialist as you wanted him to be. Noam and Chris Hedges are two of the biggest figures in the progressive network that stopped Bernie from winning. Don't come back now and pretend you supported him. I was there, and I will always remember. Your degrees and big words don't intimidate me. We could have won if you and Hedges had supported him during the primary...but you didn't! Don't pretend that you did. We had a shot with Bernie he stuck his neck out and you were too busy being purists. Who knows when we'll ever have a chance like this again. Maybe never.

Hillary destroyed any chance Bernie has in the future. When he campaigned for her he became part of the past.

Who the hell is +Preem and why can't I see his posts?

I have as much right to speak my mind as Noam and Chris.

Annie if voters hadn't been swayed by people like Noam and Chris Hillary would have lost by margins that even super delegates couldn't ignore.

Noam may be smart but he wasn't during this election. It was a one shot chance and he helped blow it.
1
Where's my shinebox no he didn't. I frequented progressive news sites and Chomsky was always going off on how Bermie wasn't a purist socialist.
1
Exactly where's my shinebox and that's how he undermined his base.
1
I hear you donHooligan. But he seemed to think Jill Stein was a better candidate.
1
Nature Boy many progressives were swayed.
1
Nature Boy neither. But those of you that practice hero worship of people that talk down to you or seek to make you feel inferior are.
1
Route6 Kid he never said he was a BAD thing, but he never thought he stood a chance of winning. And in essence he never took him seriously.
1
Chomsky never endorsed him openly. He never thought he had a chance of winning where's my shinebox.
1
Dara Marc Sasmaz I also read all those articles and tried to watch the videos (although watching Chomsky speak puts me to sleep.) He never openly endorsed Bernie and he never thought he could win.
1
Route6 Kid I never mentioned Tulsi.
1
Where's my shinebox Chomsky always thought Bernie would fail and always supported Hillary as the better democratic choice. http://www.salon.com/2016/02/12/noam_chomsky_bernie_isn_the_socialist_he_proclaims_partner/
1
klompb true but Chomsky came out more than once and said Bernie couldn't win. Now he's wishing he had? And Chomsky's and Chris Hedges opinions do make a difference with progressives.
1
Martine if Chomsky's opinion doesn't matter why is it being covered here on the Humanist Report?
