  1. I don't understand why we can't push for an amendment through the congress. Why call a convention. I think that's just asking for problems. The ERA was not ratified because states like Carter's, Clinton's and Obama's home states would not ratify it. What makes Cenk think democratic states would ratify his amendment.   2. Hey no one thought they would pass the ERA. But they did. We should have campaigned the states more strongly for ratification. Someone should really ask Hillary why her birth state Illinois and Arkansas didn't pass it. Since it would have benefited women the lgbtq community which she seems to champion in public.

  3. Like I said in my original post, now is not the time for constitutional convention. If you want an amendment do it through congress.
