Only the Clintons can use racism and get away with it. Poor Bernie was not just fighting the Republic Party and the Clinton machine people like Rev. Hedges and Chomsky were slamming him for not being a pure enough "socialist" or "independent". The fact that he got as far as he did is amazing. But I still have a problem with him clinging to the Democratic Party. Hopefully by July he'll have a change of heart. I don't see him as a presidential candidate in 2020. But I think his endorsement of a new "people's party" could go a long way. He has to drop the Russia hysteria though. I see Nick Brana's roadmap as the way to go with or without Bernie. The Green Party has had almost twenty years and they haven't elected one congressman in that time. They have too much baggage. And David Cobb is a big part of it. There have been at least four upheavals in the party system in the USA. We're overdue for a new party. Now is the time and we only have four years to do it. The midterm elections are our chance to make headway. Nick Brana has outlined the strategy. We can't allow ourselves to fall into the trap that the only way to invoke change is to work within one of the two established parties. The last election should have demonstrated that.
