  5. As a 71 year old female American (who marched for the ERA, saw it passed but not ratified)….I just want the 4th of July back. I love the musical 1776, I find Hamilton puzzling, but then I don’t like rap. And as a descendent of the Adams family I know Hamilton wasn’t black. No matter what Broadway and Hillary think.

  8. When I was kid I was sick every winter with strep throat. I filled my down time reading. I started with the Secret Garden, and dog and horse books. I ended up spending my summers reading the great Russian authors one summer, next summer great southern US writers, then great playwrights. I ended up a nerd.

  14. I have been puzzled for decades by the adaption to Islam by black Americans. I am not clear why it’s more popular than Christianity especially for those who have served time in prison.

  18. So glad I am past university age. Not anywhere I would feel comfortable today. But watching what young people stand by and allow to happen makes me very sad! If Kimberley Crenshaw and Ibram X Kendi are going to engineer the new world…glad I will be dead soon! I will never be a good “German” no matter their race or color. I know right from wrong!

  20. Last year my rural town in far Northern California got some federal dollars to resurface our Main Street. We had to lose two lanes of auto traffic for bike lanes that are never used. It’s crazy.

  31. Vivek has followed. “his bliss” as Joseph Campbell promoted. Glad he has been successful. I remember the rise of MBAs everyone wanted one no matter how much debt they had to go in to get it. Because they were told it was the route to wealth. I was into animation then (early 2000s), and I bumped into kids wondering what to study, but if it didn’t pay they weren’t interested, no matter how innately gifted they were. I wonder how happy those kids were that opted for the MBA instead of training in animation. For me animation was a second career later in life that I chose after being injured on the job. I chose something I enjoyed and had an aptitude for. Vocational counselors wanted me to do medical coding….wasn’t where my heart was…😀 Stakeholder vs shareholder leads us down the CSR (corporate social responsibility) route very similar to CRT (critical race theory). Amazing how far spreading this woke cancer is. Side note: I didn’t become wealthy with my animation work, but I paid the bills, was happy and learned to live on less financially.

  36. Happy birthday 🎂 Hard to remain proportionate after seeing the Hamas video of the men in the truck with the young woman’s body? Not to mention the other atrocities. Those men were acting inhumanly. They acted like rabid animals and should be dealt with as such. Jews acted according to social norms during WWII where did it get them? Gaza is a concentration camp yet Israel provides them power and water, and they built rockets out of irrigation pipes, armed themselves and practiced paragliding. I don’t think the Jews had that sort of freedom in their Nazi concentration camps. Decolonization is a nonissue. Mankind from the very beginning has colonized other areas. There are no truly indigenous peoples. American natives have Chinese and Mongolian DNA. This goes for everyone.
