Vivek has followed. “his bliss” as Joseph Campbell promoted. Glad he has been successful. I remember the rise of MBAs everyone wanted one no matter how much debt they had to go in to get it. Because they were told it was the route to wealth. I was into animation then (early 2000s), and I bumped into kids wondering what to study, but if it didn’t pay they weren’t interested, no matter how innately gifted they were. I wonder how happy those kids were that opted for the MBA instead of training in animation. For me animation was a second career later in life that I chose after being injured on the job. I chose something I enjoyed and had an aptitude for. Vocational counselors wanted me to do medical coding….wasn’t where my heart was…😀 Stakeholder vs shareholder leads us down the CSR (corporate social responsibility) route very similar to CRT (critical race theory). Amazing how far spreading this woke cancer is. Side note: I didn’t become wealthy with my animation work, but I paid the bills, was happy and learned to live on less financially.
