Manafort contacted witnesses while under house arrest. He deserves to be in jail if he couldn't abide by the conditions of the court. Doesn't matter if the order wasn't formally made, I am sure this evidence that he was warned of making contact with witnesses. His original charges weren't that bad, but he overplayed his cards by contacting witnesses. And we know they have evidence that he did so. And if he was bright he should have known all his communications were being monitored. His last name isn't Clinton, he's not protected.
