  1. Bette Midler can sing but I never considered her a political pundit. And to criticize Melania because of her accent is just wrong. Melania is a legal citizen. She jumped through the hoops. In 2001, Melania became a permanent resident of the USA . She married  in 2005 and obtained  in 2006 legal status. She is the second , after Louisa Adams, born outside the USA , the first one to be naturalized and the first whose native language is not English. Mrs. Trump was always in lawful immigration status from her professional work visa, unto her Green Card and is now a U.S. citizen.   I salute her for this. Much more than I think Kamala Harris as supposedly black and a woman makes her a good choice for vice president. And for Kamala Harris I attended public schools throughout California in the fifties and sixties. As a Navy brat moved around attended a boat load of them. Never attended a single segregated school. Maybe your private schools were. Afterall both her parents were both professionals. She never lived in a ghetto or with regular working folk.
