  1. About as easy as accepting civilian deaths in war as collateral damage. James Holmes was drugged out. This wasn't a political act. It was an act of desperation. A person who had nothing to lose. Timothy McVeigh was young and his act was supposedly politically motivated. These sort of generalizations are just wrong. Why were the Amish school girls killed? That killer was middle aged.
