  1. Most people don’t understand what they are signing when they sign a DNR. It means in many states that patient will receive no fluids, no nourishment, no antibiotics or other treatment. You think you are protecting your loved one from overly aggressive actions like resuscitation. What the patients will receive is morphine and sedates to keep them quiet while they die. Drugs which also suppress most bodily functions like heart and lung function. It’s not a coincidence that 70% of those who died from Covid had signed DNRs.
