  1. someone help me out. we are allegedly protected by our constitution and the charter of rights. there is a clause, section 33, the notwithstanding clause that may be invoked by an act of a legislature to override our charter rights if the need is great enough. so far, no government in canada has invoked the notwithstanding clause. why not? if the charter still applies, then these people have both rights of freedom of religion and freedom of peaceable assembly. why do we think it is ok to trample on these rights?

  6.  @floatingleaf9672  i just received an email from an assistant to my mpp. a form type response pointing me to the official government site. i responded with a thank you and this did not answer my question. i’m waiting for a response on that last, but i expect it will be much like the one you got.

  7.  @floatingleaf9672  hello T.E.. i finally got a second real response from my local MPP. basically, there are no metrics, no goalposts because we need to be flexible. this will end when they say it ends and not before.
