  5. For peeps in the US, domestic Trump fiscal policy: Me thinks Trump has some well founded fear that the Fed Reserve will set him up for failure by raising interest rates after he takes office. His remedy is to rain in the fed by merging it with the treasury.... We haven't had the treasury involved in interest rates since 1913 when the Fed Reserve, a private organization, was created.
