  1. They are missing people..... Many emigrated and many died. They will also miss Odesa, access to the black sea and perhaps parts of Ukraine will be given to Romaina, Hungery and Poland.

  2.  @pinochetrevivalist7374  Perhaps grabbing teritories by nations local to Ukraine would be stupid. It is also possible that Poland could mannage the crazyness of the Galina naugties territory and have other teritories split so that Russia don't have to do it all by it's self. Another advantage is that it could clear out the myth of Russia's teritorial ambitions..
