  1. Probably a similar problem as in the 1970s where the mayor wanted to support the homeless by raising property taxes which resulted in businesses abandoning NYC and the number of homeless and unemployed people exploded.

  2. Perhaps it is better to relocate any business out of NYC preferably to another state and only have an online shop instead.
