  1. This narrative about an aggressive Russia is just insane. It is NATO that has been inexorably movin towards Russia, not the other way around. Now you're talking about sending European troops to the border of Russia. WHY does Britain have to send troops against Russia and match France in military power? It's certainly not about defending Britain. Neither Europe nor Russia is going to attack Britain militarily. Probably not the USA either, unless Britain discovers some minerals it wants.
